OUR sixth form has seen a new flood of admissions applications after the opening of new science facilities.

The number of youngsters taking A Levels at UTCN has doubled since last year, following the introduction of new state-of-the art facilities.

The school is now offering A Levels in biology and chemistry as well as a new science T Level qualification.

Headteacher Ms Palik said: “The data clearly shows UTCN has a growing appeal to young scientists in our community. “The increase in numbers at A Level is directly related, we feel, to our new science facilities at the school. “We are building a very active science community here at UTCN with lots of extracurricular activities taking place.”
